In this section, you will find instructions on how to activate your new time tracking terminal and connect it to your TimeRecording account.​

All necessary steps can be found in this video or described in writing below.​

• First, connect the power plug suitable for your region to the power adapter.​

• Plug the power cable into the back of the time clock and the power adapter.​

• Connect the power adapter to the power supply (100 – 240 Volts AC).​

• On your PC, laptop, or smartphone, search for Wi-Fi networks and connect your device to the Wi-Fi network displayed on the time clock screen.​

Frequency: 2.4 GHz
Encryption:
WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, WPA3-PSK, WAPI-PSK

Your device may indicate that the connected network has no internet connection.​

This is correct. Do not disconnect from the network!​

• Open your internet browser on the device connected to the time clock’s network, and enter one of the following addresses in the address bar:​
  – http://id800.local
  or
  – http://192.168.4.1

• Enter the Wi-Fi name and the associated password of the network you want to connect the time clock to on the configuration page. Check your entries and confirm them with “Apply.”​

• The time clock will display the progress as follows:​

If the time clock cannot connect to the entered network, the entire setup process will restart with a new Wi-Fi name and password.​

• If you do not have access yet, register your IDENTsmart TimeRecording account here:​

• Pair the Time Clock with your TimeRecording account:​
  
  • Open your TimeRecording account at https://app.timerecording.com/
  • Select “Time Clocks” from the menu on the left side.​
  • Click on the blue “ADD NEW TIME CLOCK” button.​
  • Set a unique time clock name and enter the code displayed on the time clock in the “Code” field.​

• After successful pairing with your TimeRecording account, the time clock will be listed in the overview. The time clock is now ready for use.​
