The carryover rule determines which part of the selected balance will be carried over to the following month.
Carryover without restriction:
The entire positive or negative balance will be transferred from the last day of the month to the following month.
Carryover always 00:00:
The positive or negative balance will not be transferred to the following month. Each month starts with 00:00.
Carryover maximum hh:mm:
The maximum positive carryover (overtime) is limited to the specified value. The predetermined value can apply to the monthly balance to restrict monthly overtime or to the cumulative total balance to limit overall overtime.

Max. 10:00 from the cumulative total balance is carried over, resulting in the discarding of 13 hours. The new total balance is therefore 23:00 − 13:00 = 10:00

Do not carry over hh:mm:
The predetermined value will not be carried over or deducted from the positive carryover (overtime). However, no more overtime will be deducted than what has been accrued. The basis for calculation can be either the monthly balance or the cumulative total balance.
