Core Hours

Core hours define the periods during which an employee is required to be present.

A core hour violation occurs if the first clock-in is after the start of core hours, or the last clock-out is before the end of core hours. In the event of a core hours violation, a corresponding notice is displayed on the dashboard and in the reports. Core hour violations are purely informational and do not affect the calculation of balances.

Example:

Core hours: 10:00 – 15:00

For a first clock-in at 10:07, the evaluation will show “Core hours violation” or “Core hours violation (10:00 – 15:00)”.
For a last clock-out at 14:42, the evaluation will show “Core hours violation” or “Core hours violation (10:00 – 15:00)”.
