Fixed breaks are independent of the employee’s working hours. If the employee is present during the specified break times, the break is calculated.
Examples:
Fixed Break: 12:00 – 12:30 (00:30)
Clock-in at 09:00 and clock-out at 17:00
Attendance 08:00 hrs.
Break 00:30 hrs (12:00 – 12:30)
Work Time: 07:30 hrs.
Clock-in at 09:00 and clock-out at 12:20
Attendance 03:20 hrs.
Break 00:20 hrs (12:00 – 12:30)
Work Time: 03:00 hrs.
Clock-in at 12:10 and clock-out at 17:00
Attendance 04:50 hrs.
Break 00:20 hrs (12:10 – 12:30)
Work Time: 04:30 hrs.
Clock-in at 11:55 and clock-out at 12:10
Attendance 00:15 hrs.
Break 00:10 hrs (12:00 – 12:10)
Work Time: 00:05 hrs.
